30 Min Timer provides a visual countdown timer for the web and browser extension surfaces. This policy explains what data the product handles and how it is used.

Single purpose

The product's purpose is to let users start, customize, share, and finish visual countdown timers with backgrounds, progress icons, and sound alerts.

Data handled by the timer

Data we do not collect

How data is used

Data is used only to provide and improve the timer experience: saving local preferences, running countdowns, playing alerts, loading backgrounds and sounds, focusing an existing timer tab, keeping shareable timer links available, and reviewing optional uninstall feedback.

Chrome Extension permissions

Remote code

The Chrome Extension does not execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly. JavaScript is bundled inside the extension package. External requests are used for timer configuration, public media assets, and timer links.

Sharing and service providers

Data is not sold. The product may use infrastructure providers such as Railway for hosting and Supabase for public media storage and timer data needed by shareable links. These providers process data only to operate the service.

Retention

Local settings stay in your browser until you clear browser data or remove the extension. Server-side timer link data may be kept as long as needed to operate shareable timer links and maintain the service. Optional uninstall feedback may be kept for product review, support, and abuse prevention.

Sensitive information

Do not put passwords, financial data, medical information, legal information, or other sensitive personal information into timer text, URLs, or shared timer links.
